Halibut Tips

Weighing 10 to 75 pounds, Halibut are a member of the flat fish family. As young, they swim upright but after the first year, one eye migrates to the other side of the head, and they start to swim horizonally. They live on the sandy bottom, using their coloration and ability to bury themselves to hide from predators.
