"New Fisherman III"    with Captain Steve Bales
Captain Bales is one of the longest standing Captains in the Bay Area fleet. He got his captains license in 1966, after decking for Bill Beckett on the Paul G. His first sport fishing boat was the Mary Ellen out of San Pablo. He has owned and operated six Bay Area boats since then, including the Sun Fish, where Art Roby got his start in sport fishing as Steve's skipper. Captain Bales now operates the super-clean New Fisherman III, out of Berkeley Marina.
